Best for Linea Weatherboard
- Hamptons, coastal, and modern coastal elevations
- Exterior walls needing deeper shadow lines than standard profiles
- Projects wanting a stable alternative to timber weatherboards
- Dark paint schemes where dimensional stability matters
- Facades where longer lengths help reduce join lines
- New builds and renovations seeking a paint-ready weatherboard finish
If you’re chasing that classic horizontal lap look but you don’t want the long-term upkeep of timber, Linea™ is built for the job. It’s a fibre cement exterior cladding board designed to stay straighter for longer—particularly useful in WA where high UV, hot summers, and coastal salt air can punish materials that move or degrade quickly. The big win is dimensional stability: less swelling, less shrinkage, and fewer surprises at joins, which helps your paint system look cleaner over time and reduces the chance of cracks telegraphing through the finish.
Selecting the best type
Choose width for the façade proportion
- Choose the narrower board for a finer, more traditional look.
- Choose the wider board for a bolder, more contemporary expression.
Use longer lengths to cut down joints
- Where possible, choose the longest board length suitable for your wall runs to reduce joins and improve the finished look.
